Two Words from my friend Kimmy

Well, really it's one word repeated:

"Rabbit Rabbit"

-When we were college roomates she used to say this on the first of day of every month.
What the hell does it mean?

I looked it up:

"Rabbit rabbit" is a common superstition, held particularly among children. The most common modern version states that a person should say "rabbit, rabbit" upon waking on the first day of each new month, and on doing so will receive good luck for the remainder of that month.

Did everybody already know this?

I did not know this, very interesting. Since I am OCD and superstitious, I will now have to add this one to my repertoire!
Thanks!

I was going to say it is a good luck thing, but you beat me to it.

kind of like how I used to wear the same undershirt & socks in baseball games as long as I got a hit (I would wash them in between).

My only superstition is "never be superstitious." That way I'm covered.
