Hey! We met some great people that way. Remember the ex-jock who had a bloody hand and a big knife? I can't recall his name, but it reminded me of a breakfast drink. He regaled us with his thoughts on a famous California murder: "If I had done it, it would have gone down like this" I remember him saying. You got to sit next to him.
He was one of my favorite car companions but I didn’t like his friend who came along. His name was something that rhymed with NATO. He kept asking if he could stay in our guest room.
